Greeting from Susan! The girl you supported for years has now graduated from college! With God’s mercy and grace, I got a relatively good job offer in the midst of this pandemic. You know how difficult a year this has been. I am very grateful!
This is the fourteenth year I’ve been living in Beijing. The reason that I chose to work and live in Beijing is because here was the turning point in my destiny. I have many brothers and sisters in Angel Training Center; a lot of wonderful memories there; the beginning of a grateful heart; and will be the beginning of giving love and preaching the gospel! All I have in my life now was received from Angel Training Center, and it is because of you, who support and love me unconditionally, that I can be who I am today!
As I grew older, I realized how colorful and meaningful life was back then. I dreamed a lot about there. I missed them so much! I can’t find another place that would make me as happy as I was there in those days. Thank you sincerely with all my heart for giving me a home, a home that I will always remember, a home that never could be found anywhere else!
This is going to be the last letter from my school year, but will be the first letter in my work life. I will keep you updated with my life, which will also be my reminder of how lucky I am, a reminder of you, loving me, supporting me, caring about me every day! Now I am able to give help gradually, help those little brothers and sisters in Angel Training Center, pass over love and support others as you did for me. It is easy and difficult, requiring a lot of hard work behind the scenes, like the teachers of the Training Center passed over your love to us without any hesitation. They loved us, took good care of us, helped us, and would there for us for such a long time. Also, I know there are many staffs working very hard in Living Hope International America Office to pass over the love they are received from you to us. Their love is silent but will be remembered in my heart. Thank you all! I love you all!
I used to be little Susan. Now I am big Susan, an adult, who is willing to pass along love and peace. As I’m writing this letter, there are a lot of great moments in front of me. Time flies. I am a working woman now. I am very happy! Thank you all again for all you did for me!
It seems like just a blink of an eye, and here I am graduated from college. I couldn’t believe that time went so fast. I still have a vivid memory of my life in the Angels Training Center. I was really blessed to grow up there.
I remember the day when the staff of Angels Training Center came to my small hometown Zhangjiakou. They had selected over ten children and I was one of them. I still remember clearly when Mr. Wen came to our house for an interview. Our tiny little house was less than 100 square feet. My grandmother was trying to clean up the house. My grandfather was still living then. Although he was sick, he tried to make himself presentable. But for me, I was just casually meeting Mr. Wan, not realizing that the meeting was going to change my life.
I went to live in the Angels Training Center. It was called Bo Ai School then. My happiest time in life was when I lived in the center with all my brothers and sisters. We received education just like other children, and in fact in many ways our lives were better than other children. We not only have local teachers, but teachers from overseas all the time. The center always organized summer camp with different type of great activities. However, the most important thing for me was that they taught us to be independent. I went to a boarding school during my middle and high school years. I only got to go back to the center to see my brothers and sisters on weekends. Although our time with each other was less, but our love for each other grew stronger and stronger. We freely shared our hearts and secrets. We truly treasured our friendship.
Without the support of the Angels training Center and all of you loving and caring sponsors all these years, I wouldn’t have a chance to be graduating from college. I want to take this moment to sincerely thank all my sponsors. Thank you, Uncle Fang, for opening the center. Thank you, all the uncles and aunties in the center, for giving me such loving care all these years. A thousand words are still not enough to express my grateful heart. I’ll live according to the teachings that have been given to me. I’ll do my best to help others. I’ll pass on the love that I’ve received from all of you!
