My name is Stephanie (Shan Xin). First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for taking good care of me for so many years. I’m thankful to be chosen to come to the Angels school. It was a place full of family love and I’ve received great care there.

My name is Stephanie (Shan Xin). First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for taking good care of me for so many years. I’m thankful to be chosen to come to the Angels school. It was a place full of family love and I’ve received great care there.
In October 2003, my parents died in a tragic accident and my family was in dire straits. The turning point of my life took place in October 2005 when Living Hope International came to my hometown to visit the poor and needy children. Fortunately, I met the condition and was able to come to the Bo Ai (Angels) School.
In the school, I met many brothers and sisters who have suffered similar loss as I did. In here, we no longer needed to worry about food and clothes. We started to enjoy normal life like other children. I received good education here including dancing, art training, and academic courses. There are many people from here and from the United States giving us selfless love and care. It was them that have helped me to understand what true love is and how happy it is to help others.
Few years ago, I enrolled in a Vocational School. I left the Angels school, since then I can only communicate with my brothers and sisters who grew up with me through the internet. Although we would have one or two gatherings every year, I felt that we are drifting away from each other. It has been a long time since I’ve seen my teachers, and I really missed them.
Time went so fast, and now I have started my internship in a kindergarten. Six months later, I will be starting a full-time job. We get paid during the internship, so I can take care of myself now and don’t need to depend on the school and donors. I’ve longed to be able to take care of myself. The donation should be given to other brothers and sisters and children that are still in need of support. I hope they will experience the true heartfelt love as I did.
There are still many uncertainties in my life. Will my job be stable? Will I meet the one I love? Am I able to adapt to this constantly changing world? Will my future life be as easy as that in the Angels School? Everything is uncertain, but I will face my future with the love that you’ve been giving me.
